Marshall's Creek Bypass Update

10/1/08: Bypass Update: New Website!
http://www.marshallscreektrafficrelief.com

As promised, PennDOT team has presented the revised Bypass plan by Autumn of 2008. It is worth noting that NPDES permits for the existing proposed bypass plan expire this year.

Plan 4 C is favored, with a two lane route around Marshall's Creek, with round about or stoplight intersections on Seven Bridge Road/209 North of County Bridge Road, and a juncture with Milford Road/209 N. of the village of Marshall's Creek.

This plan would include widening of the 209 bridge over Marshall's Creek, and an intersection redesign of 7 Bridge and Milford Road intersection. Your Board of Supervisors is advocating strongly for road widening and turning lanes through the existing Marshall's Creek Intersection, and a cooperative transportation plan involving the Mountain Manor project and the existing commercial district. We are advocates of pedestrian consideration and a cohesive, walkable village center.

As more information becomes available, we will post it here!
