community residents, boy scout groups and others are working with
Penn State Gardeners Chris Turn and Lauren Bishow to successfully raise herbs, vegetables, and flowers, both heirloom and hybrid! Pocono Apiary will soon be locating honeybee hives nearby, and an orchard is planned as well, all as part of a community heritage preservation project near the Yeasley cabin at Waterfront Park.......If you would like to take part in the garden next year, call the township building ( 570-223-5085) or email cgriffin@smithfieldtownship.com
